Educators and members of the Anoka Hennepin Education Minnesota local 7007 gathered outside the Sandberg Education Center on Aug. 24, 2020 in a rally for safe and equitable return to school. The rally was set for the time before the Anoka Hennepin school board meeting.

According to KARE11's reporting there were "hundreds" of educators, students and members of the public out to support a safe and equitable return to education.

The rally stretched around the block and included several speakers as the crowd greeted school board members who were meeting to discuss the return to school. Star Tribune had a photographer there, here is their story.

Here is an interactive photo of the rally, the Sandberg Education Center is the building on the right side of the street.
